I have been attending Our Saviour for one year and recently became a member.
They say that when you pray for God's guidance, you better be ready to listen. I truly believe that He has led me to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
There are a lot of "country club" or "feel good" churches around where you can go and hear what you want to hear. That isn't what I want. I want a pastor to preach the Law and the Gospel, lead me to what He wants, and be able to answer my questions about the Bible. I feel that is exactly what I hear and receive at Our Saviour. Plus, I want Christ to be the most important reason for being there.
We have a school and when the children are in church they are well behaved and respectful. It is a pleasure to see them. I love it when they sing because it reminds me of when my children used to sing in church. Music means a lot to me and we have wonderful, meaningful hymns.
I feel I am really growing in my faith since I have become a member, and that is important to me. I also feel that I am able to witness to others more easily about my faith, and that is important to God!

Our wonderful pastors have been very diligent in increasing my knowledge of the Holy Scriptues and have increased and strengthened my faith in our dear Lord Jesus Christ. And I can count on my church family to be thoughtful and caring.

"We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God." Acts 14:22b
This passage really has an effect on me. Mainly because once I leave this school (Our Saviour) I will have to face the devil, world, and my own flesh. But I know as I journey forward in life, I will have to face so many hardships and obstacles that will try to put a road block in my faith. But I do have one thing, one hope, and one Redeemer to help me enter the kingdom, and that is Jesus, my Savior. He has such an impact on my life, he is the one who rescued me and took away all those hardships and the guilt of my sin.
